Guest Lectures & Workshops

As an alumna of the University of Derby herself, Sarah Loates has lead the HR team in actively developing close links with the University. Initially as an associate lecturer whilst she established her business, and more latterly on a pro bono guest speaker basis, Sarah has provided numerous lectures and workshops to students on the following programmes:

Strategic Human Resource Management
Business Management (Human Resource Management)
LLB Hons Law
Sport Management
Business Studies and Accounting

Matilda Swanson also provides pro bono guest presentations and workshops.

Event Support

Sarah and the HR team also actively participate in the University’s Network of Entrepreneurs events to support links and bonds between entrepreneurs and University of Derby students that have an entrepreneurial streak and might want to start a business.
