What is an HR review?

We call these ‘HR reviews’, but they’re also known as ‘HR health checks’, ’employment law compliance audits’, or the like.

Our HR review service examines your current compliance with employment law and HR best practices.

The HR review consists of a face-to-face meeting of around an hour with one of or HR experts. Following this, we provide you with a comprehensive written report, highlighting your areas of risk, and recommending actions to mitigate against them. It’s then completely up to you what you do with this information, there’s absolutely no obligation to work with us to address any issues.

We find these HR reviews are a great way for us to get to know new businesses, and conversely, for you to get to know us.

Why do HR reviews matter?

Reviewing your compliance and HR Practice will ensure your business is running in line with employment law & legislation and you understand your obligations as an employer towards your staff.

If there are gaps or discrepancies then there could be risks of an employee raising a claim, breach of contract or an unsafe and unlawful working environment.

We’ll meet you face-to-face, at your place or ours, so that one of our HR and employment law experts can review the current state of your HR policies and procedures. We’ll then follow this up by providing you with a substantial written report highlighting your areas of risk, and advising on how to deal with them.

And we won’t keep bothering you once the HR review is done.
